Maureen Bynoe is a graduate of York University's music program where she participated in jazz workshops led by some of Toronto's best known and finest jazz musicians including Don Thompson, Barry Elmes, Phil Dwyer, Reg Schwager and Carol Welsman. Studies in vocal technique with Toronto-based Mitch Seekins further encouraged her to perform standards and bossa novas in local clubs and restaurants before launching her on to the cruise ship circuit and over to the Middle East.

Over a period of three years Maureen performed anything from jazz, bossa, R & B, and pop music to Caribbean, country and even ballroom selections aboard Regent Holiday's cruise ship "Bolero", Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's "Rhapsody" and "Splendor of the Seas", followed by four months at the "Hotel Intercontinental" in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Currently back in T.O. and now a member of Just Think, Maureen finds the musicianship, communication and creativity of this ensemble inspiring and just what she seeks in continuing to grow as a musician and performer.
